Memory & Behavioral Insights

How Nutan remembers meeting patterns, detects broken promises, and surfaces behavioral insights.

What Is Memory?

The Memory page is Nutan's long-term recall across all your meetings and deals. While individual meeting records show what happened in a single call, Memory connects the dots across conversations over time — detecting patterns, tracking promises, and surfacing insights you'd miss in day-to-day work.

Meeting History

Memory gives you a searchable, chronological view of all your captured meetings. Each entry shows:

  • Meeting date and participants
  • Deal association
  • Key topics discussed
  • Action items generated
  • Signals detected

Unlike a simple list, Memory links meetings together — so you can trace how a deal conversation evolved over weeks or months.

Pattern Detection

Nutan analyzes your meetings over time and detects recurring patterns:

Positive Patterns

  • Prospects who consistently follow through on commitments
  • Topics that correlate with deals advancing to the next stage
  • Talk tracks that lead to higher engagement

Risk Patterns

  • Contacts who frequently reschedule or cancel meetings
  • Deals where the same objections recur without resolution
  • Declining meeting frequency in late-stage deals
  • Technical evaluation loops that never reach a conclusion

Broken Promise Tracking

One of Memory's most powerful features is tracking promises across meetings. When someone says "I'll get back to you by Friday" or "We'll have the contract reviewed by next week," Nutan records the commitment and monitors whether it was fulfilled.

Broken promises are surfaced as risk signals:

  • Your broken promises — Commitments you made but didn't follow up on. These are coaching opportunities.
  • Prospect broken promises — Commitments the buyer made but didn't keep. These are deal risk indicators.

Behavioral Insights

Over time, Memory builds a behavioral profile for key stakeholders:

  • Communication style (direct, cautious, technical, executive)
  • Responsiveness patterns (fast responder, delayed, ghosting risk)
  • Meeting behavior (talks a lot, asks questions, quiet observer)
  • Decision patterns (fast mover, consensus builder, analysis paralysis)

These insights help you tailor your approach for each contact.

Using Memory

Search Across Meetings

Use the search bar on the Memory page to find any topic across all your meetings:

  • "What was discussed about security requirements?"
  • "Every mention of Competitor X."
  • "Timeline commitments from the procurement team."

Review Deal Arcs

Select a deal from the filter to see its entire meeting history as a narrative arc — from first contact through the current stage.

Privacy

All pattern detection, promise tracking, and behavioral analysis runs locally on your device. Memory is part of your encrypted local database and never leaves your computer unless cloud sync is enabled.
