Connecting Your CRM
Connect Salesforce or HubSpot to sync deals, contacts, and pipeline data with Nutan.
Supported CRMs
Nutan integrates with Salesforce and HubSpot. Both integrations pull your deals and contacts into Nutan so meeting intelligence is always in context.
How to Connect
During Onboarding
When you first set up Nutan, step 5 of onboarding prompts you to connect your CRM. Click the Salesforce or HubSpot button and you'll be redirected to your browser to authorize the connection.
After Onboarding
Go to Settings → Integrations in Nutan. Click "Connect" next to your CRM provider. You'll be taken to your browser to authorize.
Authorization Flow
- Nutan opens your browser to your CRM provider's login page.
- Sign in and authorize Nutan to access your data.
- Your CRM provider redirects back to Nutan via a secure callback.
- Tokens are stored in your operating system's secure keychain — never in a database or config file.
What Nutan Reads
- Salesforce: Deals (Opportunities) and Contacts via the Salesforce API.
- HubSpot: Deals and Contacts via the HubSpot API.
What Nutan Writes
When you choose to sync intelligence back to your CRM, Nutan pushes structured data — deal signals, meeting summaries, and action items — directly from your device to your CRM. Nutan acts as a pass-through; no copy of CRM data is stored on our servers.
Token Management
- OAuth tokens are refreshed automatically before they expire (with a 5-minute buffer).
- If a token refresh fails, the integration is automatically disabled and you'll be prompted to reconnect.
- You can disconnect your CRM at any time from Settings → Integrations. This deletes all stored tokens from your keychain.
Troubleshooting
Connection failed? Make sure you're signing into the correct CRM account. If your company uses SSO for Salesforce, sign in with your SSO credentials.
Data not syncing? Check that your CRM user has read access to deals and contacts. Nutan can only access data your CRM account is authorized to see.
Need to reconnect? Go to Settings → Integrations, disconnect the current CRM, then connect again. This issues fresh tokens.
