Managing Your Account
Update your profile, configure preferences, manage cloud sync, and delete your account.
Your Profile
Your profile is set up during onboarding and can be updated anytime in Settings → Profile:
- Name — Your first and last name, used in meeting attribution and team views.
- Role — Your sales role (Account Executive, SDR/BDR, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Customer Success, or Revenue Operations). This helps Nutan tailor intelligence and coaching to how you work.
- Company — Your company name, set during first sign-in.
- Email — Your sign-in email (managed by your identity provider, not editable in Nutan).
Preferences
Cloud Sync
Toggle cloud sync on or off in Settings:
- On — Your data (deals, contacts, meetings, chat, knowledge, action items, signals, settings) syncs every 5 minutes to the cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. This enables multi-device access.
- Off — Everything stays on this device only. No data leaves your computer.
You can change this at any time. Disabling sync does not delete data that was already synced — it simply stops future sync cycles.
Onboarding
If you skipped any onboarding steps (CRM connection, email, calendar, knowledge upload), you can complete them later from Settings → Integrations and Knowledge.
Integrations
Manage all your connected services from Settings → Integrations:

| Google Calendar | Provides meeting context and briefings |
For each integration, you can:
- Connect — Authorize via OAuth in your browser.
- Disconnect — Immediately revokes tokens and removes them from your keychain.
- View status — See whether the connection is active or needs re-authorization.
Settings Sync
A limited set of settings sync to the cloud when cloud sync is enabled:
- Your user profile (name, role)
- Whether cloud sync is enabled
- Whether onboarding is complete
Other settings (display preferences, local configuration) stay on this device only.
Deleting Your Account
Delete Your Data
Go to Settings → Privacy to delete specific data categories or all data at once. See the "Managing Your Data & Privacy" article for full details on what each option removes.
Delete Everything
The "Delete All My Data" button performs a complete GDPR Article 17 erasure:
- All deals, contacts, meetings, chats, knowledge, settings, and integrations are deleted.
- OAuth tokens are removed from your keychain.
- Cloud-synced data is removed from all devices via deletion tombstones.
- Audit logs are preserved (legally required).
After deletion, your account still exists (tied to your identity provider) but contains no data. Submit a full account removal request at nutan.ai/privacy/requests.
Security
- Your session is maintained via tokens stored in your operating system's secure keychain.
- Signing out clears all tokens. Your local data (database, models, audit logs) is preserved.
- If you're signed out unexpectedly, your refresh token may have expired — simply sign in again.
